White Rock Farm - Dairy Goats Reference Animals

White Rock Farm Clara
DOB 10/8/01; Nigerian Dwarf cross; Black with frosted ears and nose

Sire: Billy
Dam: Dixie
DD: Ginger

Clara is registered only through IDGR, but she has great levelness over the topline, including the rump, and is dairy. She also has great spring-of-rib and depth of body, and stands correct on her feet and legs. She has a spectacular udder- with a smooth, well-extended fore, good rear udder height and width, strong attachments, and near-perfect shape, with well-placed, easy-to-milk teats. She is an excellent milker, steadily milking three pounds per day even a year after the last freshening. Every kid Clara throws stays small, even when she is bred to a full-size buck; she has never had any problems kidding, either. Thus, we feel she makes a great addition to our dairy herd and breeding program for our Miniatures, despite her lack of papers. Height is 18".
